We always look forward to visiting with good customers, who have quickly become good friends. So come by & find us in South Jordan, Utah to check out our newest fashions – a few of which are included below.

{Newest} Fashions

I know, I know…it has been WAY too long since I’ve posted, but I have been on the road between shows with some amazing vacation time in between. Here’s a taste of some fun new fashions available at Dos Gringas – your one stop fashion shop.

Featured Vendor: {Jewels West}

I think it is extremely obvious to everyone how much I {LOVE, LOVE, LOVE} jewelry, especially turquoise and one-of-a-kind pieces that I know no one else will ever have. A couple days ago, I lucked into receiving the coolest.necklace.ever. from Jewels West owner & designer, Cassidy Kurtz. The necklace is turquoise & skulls & screams my name! {It’s really awesome to have a boyfriend who has a sister with some serious jewelry making skills}. After admiring the necklace for about the 18th time this morning, I decided I should share the awesomeness and blog about Jewels West as my Featured Vendor this week.

As the Jewels West facbeook page state, “Jewels West offers classy custom designed western jewelry. Focusing on quality materials and craftmanship, all pieces are one-of-a-kind, so you are sure to stand out in the crowd.”

I am lucky enough to own a few Jewels West pieces, each of which always comes with tons of compliments when I rock the pieces. However, I am sure my newest piece will be a true conversation starter. I can’t wait head to the Tri K Barrel Race at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to rock this piece. For some reason, I haven’t thought the barn would be a very appropriate place to debut my skull & turquoise necklace.

If you’re looking for that one-of-kind, high quality, handmade pieces, look no further than Jewels West!

Fashion {Spotlight}

I love magazines, especially Western industry magazine. Recently, I was flipping through the Spring 2012 issue of Western Lifestyle Retailer, taking my time on each page, reading just about every word, and making mental notes of what styles were being featured as up-and-coming. To my surprise. I spotted two {awesome} fashions that Dos Gringas will be revealing to our even (awesomer} customers in the next couple of weeks.

On page 33 in the “Queen of the Rodeo” fashion spread, I spotted this pretty little number with a description reading, “Ready to bust a bronc or hit the town, she wears a Rancho Estancio dress.” This fabulous, fun, flirty leopard dress (that easily converts into a skirt) will be available through Dos Gringas on February 15. They’re sure to go {fast}!

A few pages earlier in the “New & Novel: A Showcase of Unique, Cutting-Edge Western and Crossover Products,” I can across these absolutely {amazing} Lane Boots. These “Day of the Red” fashion boots are described in the magazine as “red roses add a bright touch to faces that bring to mind the traditional Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico. The boot is made of brown leather with colorful stitching, and features a chocolate leather lining and leather soles, with gel insoles on the inside heel for extra comfort.” You too can own these boots by special ordering them through Dos Gringas.

Now that you know what fashions to keep an eye out for, you now know where to find them. Dos Gringas is your one stop shop for all things fabulous!

Have an awesome week!

It’s {vaca} time!

I intend to post at least four times a week, if not daily, about the journeys of my gypsy life, but this next week I won’t be sharing any excitement. Instead, my entire family – mom, dad, sister, brother, sis-in-law, niece, SIL’s mom & SIL’s grandma – are headed out to Florida for a week of {bonding} time. Good thing my family is pretty ridiculously awesome! I can’t {wait} to watch my barely 5-year-old going on 16-year-old niece meet Minnie, Mickey, Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye!

So…I will get back on track next week when I return and head out on the road again.

Until then, keep blingin’

Blingin’ {Headwraps}

A few months ago, this gringa started combining her creativeness with the never ending creativeness of her mom to create one of our best selling products yet – Blingin’ Headwraps. Each headwrap is {one-of-a-kind} and sure to turn heads everywhere. You can check out our Blingin’ Headwraps on Facebook.

Here is a little idea of how I spend my days at home in Salt Lake…

Featured Vendor: {GYPSY TAILS}

Once a week, I plan to feature another vendor, business, designer. I will feature businesses and products and owners that are so ridiculously awesome that they should be shared with the masses.

{Gypsy Tails} is kind of a big deal. The brainchild of an old acquaintance turned awesome friend, Gypsy Tails are colored horse hair extensions that are attached to your horse’s mane or tail. The tails come in just about every color you could imagine with detachable bling string for those of you who really like to stand out in a crowd.

Gypsy Tails came to the public late 2010 and blew up in less than a year. Gypsy Tails was in not only one, but two, locations at the biggest Western trade show of the year at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR)! And, to validate the awesomeness of this product, the tails were featured in the Gypsy Soule – the go to shop for all things new in the Western fashion world – at the NFR.

The awesomeness of Gypsy Tails didn’t stop there. This past weekend, Flash, was a featured exhibit at {WESA}, rocking Gypsy Tails, Gypsy Soule, and Equibrand.

So, if you have horses but don’t have any Gypsy Tails, head on over to facebook or the website and get it taken care of!

Be your own you!

{WESA} The best time of year!

Every January the who’s who of the Western fashion world pull out their funkiest eclectic Western outfits, pack their bags, shine their boots, {cowboy} starch their jeans, load their trailers, hop on airplanes, and head to the mile high city for the {WESA} – the Western & English Sales Association annual Western market. If you’re anything like me and fancy cowboy boots, turquoise, bling, and a meeting a whole lot of people who live and breath all things Western, WESA is your mecca. The newest trends in Western fashion (and goods for your horses) are revealed during these five days and buyers from different Western stores and boutiques throughout the world gather at the Denver Merchandise Mart.

Well, {of course} Dos Gringas made its appearance and loaded up on some of the hottest up & coming Western fashions that definitely have crossover appeal! {Ladies} think fur, navajo, turquoise, silver, studs…I need to stop. I already feel like a five-year-old a month before Christmas – packages will begin arriving {shortly}, but not soon enough.

This year, I traveled with the creative mind behind Gypsy Tails and her fabulous boyfriend. {If you don’t know what Gypsy Tails is, check.it.out.now and thank me later}. Together the three of us scoured through {thousands} of wholesalers, met a load of fabulous folks, enjoyed a few nice dinners in downtown Denver, and plenty of good laughs.

The hardest part about WESA is waiting for everything to arrive to slap those price tags on and offer to the public. Since I can’t wait, I decided to do a {little} pre-post to give you a sneak peak on what you will be seeing at our shop soon!

RU Cowgirl, Lane Boots, Longhorn Jeans

That’s right, you will soon be seeing these fabulous finds {and more} at an event near you and on shopdosgringas.com. If you’re anything like me and enjoy keeping up with the best companies around, follow these lines on facebook – RU Cowgirl, Lane Boots, and Longhorn Jeans. {You can tell them we sent your their way; we really don’t mind}.

By the way, thank you to our fabulous reps at each company for helping us hook.you.up.

Keep it rockin’

{2012} Let’s get it started!

About 2 years ago I stopped dreaming and took action. For years I had dreamed of owning my own mobile boutique that would allow me to crisscross the country, set up shop, meet new customers, and show my horses whenever and wherever I wanted. Well, I did it. I launched Dos Gringas in early 2010 and never looked back.

Over the past couple of years, I have been fortunate enough to travel thousands upon thousands of miles, meet as many people, and live the life I have always imagined – all thanks to {YOU} my loyal and dear customers. As Dos Gringas continues to grow, I continue to work harder to bring fashion straight to {YOU}! With that, I decided it was time to start blogging of my favorite trends, Dos Gringas‘ newest collections, my travels, and whatever else fancies me. In addition to the newest fashion blog around, Dos Gringas has also launched an online shopping site so you never have to go without – shopdosgringas.com. So here you go…enjoy!

Cheers to the best one yet!
